ZINE ALERT: Packing Pride Has Landed!

A fan-like spread of printed zines titled Packing Pride: A Zine About Traveling While Queer and Trans. The cover features a close-up image of two hands gripping the handle of a suitcase. The zine is compiled by Haley Aurora and published by YEAUXLEAUX. The zines are arranged on a black marble countertop.

Cue the confetti cannons, cue the Sailor Moon transformation sequence, cue Captain Janeway giving a very serious nod of approval—because my very first zine, Packing Pride: A Zine About Traveling While Queer And Trans, is officially out in the wild!

This zine is full of heart, art, sass, and a whole lot of lived experience. Think: stories from the road, tips for surviving TSA with dignity intact, reflections on finding gender euphoria in unexpected places, and the kind of queer joy you only get from discovering a cat café in a town you can’t pronounce. It’s one part travel guide, one part diary, and one part 90s Riot Grrrl realness—because I may be a digital nomad now, but my zine roots are analog as heck.

Prefer flipping through pages like it’s 1998?

I’m working on getting Packing Pride stocked in a couple of small, independent book and gift shops soon. Keep an eye out for updates—especially if you’re the type who still sniffs freshly printed pages (no judgment, same).

This zine is for the dreamers, the weirdos, the wanderers, the pronoun-correcting passport holders, the gender nonconforming hikers, the trans road trippers, and everyone who’s ever had to ask, “Okay but will I be safe there?”

It’s for us.

Thanks for supporting indie publishing, queer stories, and my chaotic little brainchild. More to come, but for now… time to pack your bags and pack some pride. ✨
